2.but the money did never find. 改成but the money was never found. 钱只能被找到，所以用被动语态；3.what he would did改成what he would do，这里would是情态动词，后面要跟动词原形；4.report to the inspector改成reporting to the inspector，从上下文看是正在汇报，所以用现在进行时态；6. I couldn't make something改成 I couldn't make anything，something用在肯定句中，而anything用在否定句和疑问句中；10.to cover her backyard by cement改成to cover her backyard with cement，用。。。覆盖，用with。求助一：动态句型表示主体在进行某一动作，静态句型是表示主体具有某一属性、具有某种属性和处于某种状态，美式思维偏向于用静态句型表达；求助二：情态动词是一种本身有一定的词义,表示说话人的情绪,态度或语气的动词,但不能单独作谓语,只能和其他动词原形构成谓语.情态动词后面要跟动词的原形形式。
